Why work with me?
Many therapists are passionate advocates of the modality they trained in, and cite it as the solution to all of life's problems. The problem is that research shows us that good therapy doesn't quite work like that.
The best indicator of successful therapy is one simple thing: the relationship between the therapist and client. I think that our relationships are the most important thing we have. They can affect us in all sorts of positive and negative ways, and the right ones can help u chart a course towards something better in life. That's also why, if you don't feel I'm the right fit for you, I can help point you in the direction of someone else who might be (if you'd like me to).

How do I work?
Within the therapeutic relationship, it is important that a therapist can tailor their approach to support you in the right way. I'm trained to master's level in a range of psychotherapeutic models, which means I can work with you to formulate an approach that fits your needs, drawing together techniques and insights from Attachment Theory, Person-Centred Therapy and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), alongside strategies rooted in Compassion Focused Therapy (CFT) and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
I support couples and individuals aged 17+ experiencing anxiety, depression, intrusive thoughts, OCD, relationship difficulties, low self-esteem, or general emotional distress. My approach encourages self-awareness, resilience, and the gradual rewriting of your story, so that life can be lived in a more balanced, authentic, and fulfilling way.
